To
qualify for a free file check you
must place an order for printing.
Just like photocopying, printing needs an original to reproduce - this original is called 'artwork'. It's usually a computer generated document but it can also be a series of hard-copy images.
You must send us your 'artwork' when you place an order (or we can produce it for you at extra cost).
We'll
check your material, confirm it's size, margins and bleed, convert it into a format suitable for high resolution printing and provide you with an email proof
for checking. We'll put right any minor errors and spelling mistakes you identify and email
you a final proof for approval prior to printing.
If
you're not sure if your material is good enough, don't worry - send it to us anyway and we'll
confirm it's suitability.
We like 'print-ready' PDFs but we
accept stuff from all the usual professional typesetting and graphics packages
- both Macintosh and PC - as well as documents from most Windows based applications.
Note: fonts are copyright protected and
are not automatically copied when you save your documents. Transferring
your files to another computer may leave some of your fonts behind. Please
ensure that all fonts are 'embedded' before sending your stuff. Search the 'help' file in your application to learn more. |
